Orchard Falls farm

I have a small production garden on 14 beautiful acres on Orcas Island. My focus is on all kinds of plant starts , medicinal herbs, a greenhouse filled with heirloom tomatoes and a wide range of produce. I am looking for a fun loving, hard working person to help with all aspects of the farm. (emphasis on fun loving :) Your accommodations are a small one room cabin with us sharing the main cabin for working and bathing. My emphasis in the garden is medicinal herbs, making oils and creams, canning all kinds of produce for the winter months, tending to the goji berry plants and stevia that I market off island, and growing and harvesting produce for a small local produce stand. This is a learning experience for myself as well, so any input that you might have is appreciated. Trade for food and lodging would be 15 to 20 hours per week -- negotiable. Orcas is a dream place to spend the summer, much to do and see, lots of music events and fun. Please no heavy drinkers.
